Meet the Instructors

200 Shams is an electronic music producer & songwriter from Egypt. He has released multiple critically acclaimed projects over the years. Along side his solo projects, he has provided production & songwriting for several other established artists.

His sound is characterised by an off-kilter take on Egyptian pop sounds and film sountracks, merged with electronic music influences with a strong emphasis on groove. His distinct DIY aesthetic in studio productions has carved out a niche for himself in the music industry.

Nazli Reda is a live sound engineer with almost a decade of experience under her belt. She is the founder of Nazli’s Noise and ambassador for Ear Peace, a leading earplug company that promotes audio health and safety at musical events.

Nazli is experience in band and tour management, and has built a reputation as one of the leading live sound engineers in Egypt. She’s committed to creating a seamless live sound experience with any artist that she works with, but her passion lies in working with independent artists.

 

Nazli holds a BA in Music Technology from the American University in Cairo.

Workshop Details

Starts: March 25, 2025

Duration

First session starts at 8pm.

Each session is 1.5 - 2 hours long, with breaks in between.

Location

Classes will be held at the Audio Bus studio located at YTRC Maadi, but only very limited spots will be available. Payment must be made in order to guarantee a spot in the class. Registration alone does not guarantee any spots.
